CYSTIC HYPERPLASIA OF THE BREAST

Cystic hyperplasia of the breast is a benign hyperplasia of breast mesenchyme tissue. It often occurs in women between the ages of 25 and 45 years old. The hyperplasia will disappear or reduce automatically after menopause. The symptoms are breast bloating pain which can extend to the shoulder or arm or back. The pain gets worse before menstruation. The breast appearance looks normal. But if you touch the breast, you may feel many tuberous nodes or lumps. If nodes become bigger quickly then cancer may be suspected.

CHINESE MEDICAL TREATMENT: One course of treatment is 2 months.

ACUPUNCTURE: twice a week.

CHINESE HERBS: 5 packages a week. or take herb formulas.

After one course of treatment 50 - 80% of the nodes or lumps will be dispelled. If cancer develops then the patients should have surgery as soon as possible. The treatment above is also used for Fibrodenona.
