Meniere’s Disease Meniere’s disease is a dysfunction of the labyrinth of the inner ear. It causes severe vertigo, hearing loss, and tinnitus, other symptoms include severe nausea, vomiting, sweating, giddiness. Attacks occur several times a year and remissions may last several years. Attacks become less frequent as hearing loss progresses. When the destruction of the ear is complete, the hearing loss becomes total and the attacks cease. Treatment:
